Are you a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a school setting? This CENTRALIA, WA contract could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with daily health and personal care needs (e.g., medication administration, toileting, feeding, mobility)
- Monitor students’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any significant changes to the school nurse
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure the health and safety of students with medical needs
- Support students with disabilities, chronic conditions, and special healthcare needs within the school environment
- Document and maintain accurate health records and daily logs of student care
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and behavior support plans in collaboration with the school nurse and other school personnel
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in WA (required)
- Experience working in a school setting or with children is preferred
- Active BLS Certification
