Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations using standardized and informal assessment tools.
- Interpret assessment data to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Prepare clear, thorough diagnostic reports outlining findings, strengths, and areas of need.
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and present evaluation results to parents and school teams.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and review IEPs.
- Recommend appropriate instructional strategies, accommodations, and interventions.
- Monitor student progress and conduct re-evaluations as required.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations (e.g., IDEA).
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and evaluation documentation.
- Provide consultation and guidance to educators and families regarding learning differences and support strategies.
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field
- TX certification or licensure as an Education Diagnostician
- Experience conducting educational assessments in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedure
- Pay: $1,451.45 - $1,496.34 / week
