Responsibilities:
- Perform initial assessments and triage of pediatric patients, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition and ensuring timely intervention for critical cases.
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, manage airway and respiratory support, and provide emergency interventions for trauma, illness, or injury in children.
- Work closely with pediatricians, emergency physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients, ensuring effective communication and timely care.
- Provide emotional support and education to families, explaining procedures, treatments, and discharge instructions, and helping them navigate the stressful experience of a pediatric emergency.
- AZ Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric emergency or critical care setting
- Pay: $1,961.22 - $2,021.88 / week
